Description:

Whether you're new to meditation and mindfulness or interested in further developing your skills, this practical and nonreligious student-centred course will help you craft an enjoyable and effective meditation practice.

As well as learning a variety of meditation methods that bring mindful awareness to body sensations, breathing, sounds, thoughts and emotions, you can participate in lively tutorial-style discussions exploring themes such as how to create and sustain a daily meditation practice and how to work with challenges that you may encounter – for example, difficulty relaxing or focusing, and overthinking.

Course facilitator Paul Majewski, Director of Meditation Solutions, is a meditation specialist with more than 25 years’ meditation teaching experience in adult community education, workplace training and private tuition. Paul is the past vice president of the Meditation Association of Australia, the national peak body representing meditation teachers and promoting the practice of meditation.
